I am a super bad blogger

There I've admitted it. I have good intentions, but when it comes to blogging they always fall short. I was reading a photography magazine as I sat in a waiting room last fall, which I always had time to read almost cover to cover in my hour wait. I delved into the first story, written by a very reputable photographer. It spoke about things to do on your photography website. BLOG BLOG BLOG - you must BLOG! Ugh - not what I wanted to hear. I flipped to the next story, again written by another very reputable photographer. Time wasters was the name of the article. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BLOGGING. I literally laughed out loud in this quiet waiting room - "SERIOUSLY?! Which is it man?" So I'm kind of meeting them in the middle. I'll blog when I think about it. Which is proving to be, oh once every 10 months.

A lot has happened in the past 10 months, and a lot will happen in the next 10! We're looking forward to a very busy and exciting 2019. We will have not one but two high school seniors in our family this fall and a WEDDING in September! So Sean and I are spent the winter months gearing up and preparing for a very busy season, and making some BIG plans for the Class of 2020! This is a bitter-sweet class for us as our youngest is in it, along with our nephew. It's going to be an extremely exciting time!!

While we're gearing up for a busy season and headed into March, I've emerged myself into Dermot Kennedy's albums. While I'm an alternative junkie at heart, but I have a super soft spot for jazz and borderline folk music. Dermot's album has a folk spin but really what I really love are the obvious Irish musical accents within music. It's so appropriate for this upcoming month. It takes me back to March of last year when our middle son Dylan, was heading to Ireland to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade as a member of the Marching Illini. Now, Dylan is an electrical engineering major, he claims to not be super artsy. However, the photographs he captured while in Ireland are nothing short of amazing and jaw-dropping. Being the proud mom I am, I'm featuring his photographs within this post. I'll leave you with ... "May your troubles be less, And your blessing be more. And nothing but happiness, Come through your door." Enjoy & have a Blessed March.
